Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution BESSI provides social security benefits with particular emphasis on medical and health facilities to the secured workers of notified Establishments. The governing body of BESSI is tripartite having 12 members the secretary of labor and manpower is the chairman of BESSI and the commissioner of BESSI is the chief executive of Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution. The area of jurisdiction of BESSI’s existing circles Quetta and Hub and proposed new circles Gwadar and Dere Murid Jamili. Mr. Tariq Qamar is the secretary of the Labour and Manpower Department and is also the Chairman of Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution.
