About CSS Federal Public Services Commission of Pakistan
The Constitution of Pakistan doesn’t define the official name of the civil service. There is no official name for the service “Central Superior Services of Pakistan” (or CSS). The constitution allows the appointed officer of the government as chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission of Pakistan to decide on the name. The name “CSS” emerged during the first examination for civil service in order to make appointments to positions at the officer entry level within the occupational group that is the entirety of Pakistan. The Public Service Commission was set for the first time by British India in 1926. After Pakistan’s independence in 1947, the Commission was created in Pakistan 1947. Eligibility Criteria for Special CSS Examination 2023
Both males and females including special persons have at least a 2nd division Bachelor’s degree and are between age of 21 to 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years according to vide SRONo.202(i)/2023, dated 20.02.2023 as a one-time dispensation. The upper age limit will be 35 years for all candidates across the board. How to Apply Online For CSS MPT Registration
- All aspirants may apply online for the preliminary MCQ Test at the official website of FPSC www.fpsc.gov.pk Or Click here up to 14th March 2023. (Phase-II)
- The candidates who have already applied from 18.12.2022 to 04.01.2023 vide public notice, dated 18.12.2022 (Phase-I) are not required to apply again, all such applications shall be processed as per the rules.
- Online applications, challan forms, rules & syllabus for special CSS Competitive examinations are available on FPSC Website.
- The closing date for submission of the online application is 14th March 2023.
- Deposit Rs. 250/-as exam fee before the closing date in the nearest government treasury/state bank of Pakistan/national bank of Pakistan under the account headed ”C02101-Organs of state Exam fee (FPSC Receipt) and bring the original challan form at the exam center at the time of appearing in the test.
