Higher Education Undergraduate Studies Admission Test 2023

The higher education commission viz Education Testing Council (ETC) will conduct undergraduate studies admission test (USAT) for admission at the undergraduate level in universities operating all over Pakistan. The USAT is designed on the scholastic aptitude test (SAT) pattern and covers all known disciplines of Engineering, Medicine, IT, Management, and social sciences at the undergraduate entry level. The studies after qualifying respective USAT would stand eligible to all relevant universities like the SAT.
Who Can Apply for Undergraduate Studies Admission Test
- Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent/Grade 12 education
- Students who have appeared in the final examination and are awaiting results
- Students having 12 years/ equivalent education in any discipline.
How to Apply for Undergraduate Studies Admission Test 2023

- The application submission process consists of the following two stages: profile submission through the “My Profile” section and “My Profile” sections and application submission via “Undergraduate Studies Admission Test” Links on the menu panel on the left-hand sidebar of the portal online.
- Only completed applications will be evaluated for the USAT Test and applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE modes are not accepted.
- The Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) cost for the test is one PKR for each test taker. Candidates are required to deposit the fee amount into Habib Bank Limited Account no. 1742 7900 1334 01–Title of Account: Higher Education Commission.
- The applicants must upload a scanned and paid challan form validly stamped by an HBL Branch while completing the application form through the ETC online registration portal in order to submit their application.
- The test fee is not refundable and cannot be transferred.
Proposed Test Schedule
The test is held on a quarterly basis in the major cities of Pakistan to be held simultaneously. More tests can however be arranged if the need existed. The yearly test calendar will be uploaded on the ETC website. Candidates may register themselves through the online registration portal.

Eligibility for USAT Test 2023
A student who has completed the intermediate exam can be eligible to apply for USAT.
There is no minimum mark requirement to pass the USAT test. If your marks are 33%, you may submit an application for the test.
Students who are waiting on results may be eligible to take the test.
