Impartment Information About Pakistan Air Force
The Pakistan air force (PAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan armed forces, tasked primarily with the aerial defense of Pakistan, with a secondary role of providing air support to the Pakistan army and navy when required, and a tertiary role of providing strategic airlift capability to Pakistan. PAF was established on 14 August 1947, it has more than 70000 active-duty personnel, 8000 reserves, and operates at least 970 aircraft. Since its establishment in 1947, the PAF has been involved in various combat operations, providing aerial support to the operations and relief efforts of the Pakistani military. Under article 243, the constitution of Pakistan, the president of Pakistan is the commander-in-chief of the Pakistan Air Force. The headquarter of PAF is located in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, and air chief marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber is the Chief Of Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force since 19 March 2021.

Candidates can join PAF after graduation, as officers through a short service commission in different branches of the Pakistan air force. If you are a graduate with BSc/BS/BCS/B.Com then you can join for following branches as a commissioned officer.
- Admin & Special Duties Course: BA/BSc/BBA/BPA/BS(04 years)
- Engineering Branch: BE/BS/BSc (04 years engineering degree)

Join Pakistan Air Force After MBBS
Males and females both can join PAF after MBBS as general duty medical officers (GDMO). The candidate with an MBBS degree will be trained for 24 weeks at PAF Academy Risalpur as Flight Lieutenant, and candidates with FCPS degrees will be trained as Squadron Leaders. Selection Procedure Of Pakistan Air Force
The candidate who wants to join PAF as an airman or as a commissioned officer should visit this page carefully. We are giving you all information about the selection process of PAF. First of all, candidates can register themselves online through the official website of PAF or visit the neatest PF selection and recruitment center for registration.
Registration Through Internet:
A candidate can register himself on the official website of Pakistan Air Force www.joinpaf.gov.pk, or CLICK HERE by putting details about educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, address, E-mali, and contact number. Candidate can download the roll number slip for the test, date and time of the test is given on their roll number slip.
Registration At PFS&RCs:
Candidate may report to the nearest selection and recruitment center for registration with necessary documents, educational certificates, CNIC/Form B, and domicile for registration. After registration, online tests for candidates have been held at respective selection centers. This includes an intelligence test followed by English, math, and physics. After clearing this initial test an interview and medical exam are held at the selection center. Candidates for airman selected by PAF headquarter and a call letter issued to the candidate’s postal address for join for initial training at Kohat. The candidates who applied for Commissioned officers are called by inter services selection board (ISSB) to complete a four-day strenuous procedure. After ISSB successful candidates are recommended for the next step for complete medical in PAF hospital Lahore. After clearing the medical screening and FAT for GD (P) branch, the candidate based on the merit list is finally selected for their respective branch and has to report to PAF Academy Asghar Khan Located in the beautiful area of Risalpur for initial training for three years.
