Eligibility Criteria
- Admission Based on Open Merit: All admissions of qualified students will be based on open inter-se-merit, which will be determined by an entrance exam and an interview.
- The Institute will let people into four-year degree programs based on a schedule that will be published in the top national media and on the Institute’s website.
- After the deadline, the Institute will not accept any forms for enrollment.
- Applicants can only apply for admission if they have a 2nd division (495/1100) or similar in Intermediate or passing grades in eight subjects (including mandatory subjects) of ‘O Level’ and at least three main subjects (no subsidiary) of ‘A Level’ only.
- The (IBCC) Equivalence Certificate is required of all “A Level” students. But if a student’s ‘A’ Level result hasn’t been released at the time of admission, the ‘O’ Level Equivalence Certificate must be attached to the entrance application. Read on…
- All applicants will have to take a mandatory pre-admission Entry Test, which will be followed by an interview on the main campus and at centers set up in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta at times that will be announced.
- Based on the Entry Test and the Interview, a list of people who should be allowed to study in the first term of Foundation Year will be made. The final allocation of departments will be based on the CGPA earned in the second semester. Students who don’t get the required CGPA will be moved to their second or third choice if there is merit in those departments. If there is no merit, the decision of the “Allocation of Department Committee” will be final and the student will have to follow it.

How to Apply For PIFD Student Portal
- Applicants must send photocopies of their educational papers that have been attested along with the application form:
- Everyone who wants to take the Admission Entry Test must bring their Roll No. Slip.
- After the merit list is posted, all of the chosen applicants must bring the original papers, one set of attested copies of these documents, and four photos when they pay their fees and register.
- The chosen candidates will be admitted on a provisional basis, and entry will be finalized after the “Verification Committee” checks the documents. If, at any point after admission, the authorities find out that the applicant’s papers are fake or that they contain a mistake or clerical error, the applicant’s admission will be canceled.
